1. She wears size 3 diapers, but she tells her friends she is a size 2.
2. She feels naked if she leaves home without her purse.
3. She can’t crawl yet, and she desperately wants to. Clearly, she thinks, this is her mother’s fault.
4. When she’s having a bad hair day, she pulls it up and blames the Florida humidity.
5. She loves her mother but is 100% a daddy’s girl.
6. She is a cat person. {If by cat person you mean someone who will go to great lengths to grab a cat by the face and try to chew on its ears}
7. After careful consideration, career aptitude tests, and the advice of her friends and family, she has decided to become a butterfly when she grows up.
8. If you ask her what she is looking for in a boy she will say, “someone who is smart with a great personality.” While this is true, the kind of stroller he rides secretly matters too.
9. She learned to walk in high heels. She sleeps with bows in her hair.
10. She loves to wear make-up. She even does it all by herself.
#1 Sign she will probably be half tom-boy:
She wants to be just like her big brother
*Obviously this list is mostly just humorous {although I do get the feeling that she thinks it is my fault she can’t crawl yet}. Of course we do not think that Lyla or girls in general are shallow and it is important to us to teach her good values. We want her to feel beautiful no matter what size she is. We want to teach her that she shouldn’t be interested in a guy because of what kind of car he drives or how much money he has.

Oh, this made me laugh. My daughter is much the same on all counts… Except that she is a dog person, as in I would like to grab a large fistful of chest fur and eat it before mommy can catch me (blech!)
Thank you for the links you added to freestyle Friday! Hopping over to the embroidery post next, it looks just amazing!
