I have a lot of earrings. I never throw them out. Even the cheap ones that start to wear. At least they don’t take up space. Recently we were at Disney and I was watching a girl wrap hair with thread. It was interesting how they switched from color to color. Then I saw a couple pairs of hoop earrings that didn’t look very good anymore, and I thought I
Washi Tape Flowers
I’ve seen all sorts of duct tape flowers around Pinterest. I especially love these from How Joyful. I have been wanting to make some washi tape flowers lately, and I followed a similar idea to these duct tape ones.

Have You Hopped on the Color Block Trend?
Lately I’ve been drawn to the idea of color blocking (vibrant colors, repetitive shapes, often with white backdrops). It’s so bold, with so many possibilities, and it’s especially fun for the upcoming summer. If you’re not brave enough to wear this kind of striking outfit, you could incorporate the idea into your home, party, or craft. Nail Polish Bobby Pins
I saw this tutorial on Pinterest from Pink Lemonade and I knew I had to make some myself. I also love how she gave an old simple necklace a makeover with a little colorful nail polish. I lined up bobby pins along a piece of card stock. I then painted them with different shades of colorful nail polish. It can get a little messy, but overall it was very easy.

Dog and Cat Paper Gift Boxes
The other day I stumbled upon this great tutorial (and free template) from Curbly for a very simple gift box, and I made these out of card stock. Immediately, when I saw these with the way the little tabs stick up, they reminded me of little animals. So I decided to turn a couple of them into a dog and a cat. I used the scraps of card stock leftover from
Nail Polish + Keys…
Here are two fantastic projects involving keys and nail polish. I’ve used nail polish to label and identify keys before, but I especially love how beautiful these keys look from A Bubbly Life. I love this idea from Maize Hutton. These vintage keys, painted with nail polish are gorgeous. They would make such a beautiful necklace, or look great just as decoration.
