Hi, I’m Erin from How to Nest for Less. I’m excited to share my latest Christmas project with all of you: my Christmas Wish List Magnet Board!
When I open up the Sunday paper these days, I’m inundated with Christmas circulars. Yep, definitely that time of year! While Pinterest is my newest LOVE, I didn’t know what to do with those present ideas for my 3 year old daughter that I cut out of the paper. AH HA~! A Christmas Wish List Magnet Board!
I gathered my supplies:
- old circular cookie sheet
- Christmas wire ribbon (Michael’s)
- Krylon cherry red spray paint
- (4) plastic Christmas ornaments (Dollar Tree)
- magnets with adhesive backing (Michael’s)
- Christmas bells (taken from a door hanger purchased at the Dollar Tree)
First step was to spray paint the old circular cookie sheet in Krylon’s cherry red spray paint.
LOVE this stuff! Dries super quick (about 12 minutes) and has full coverage.
The cookie sheet came with holes at the top and bottom… perfect for some additional decor! I added some beautiful Christmas wired ribbon (a red and green checkered large bow plus a green snowflake ribbon for hanging).
I had purchased a door hanger with green bells from the Dollar Tree. I cut off the ribbons and bells and added them to the bottom of the magnet board.
Next I worked on the magnets! I took some plastic ornaments from the Dollar Tree and added some adhesive magnets on the back side.
Final step was adding a little message to the Christmas magnet board with white glittery stickers… “All I Want for Christmas”. Yep, this will send a clear message to Santa!
And that’s it! My Christmas Wish List Magnet Board is complete!
Thanks for letting me share a new project with you today! I hope you guys enjoyed it and can’t wait to see all of the other fabulous Christmas projects at Lines Across My Face!

Erin, What a darling idea for ANY home. If you want some thing, it could be posted quietly. I would however: flip over and use the right side and put felt on the back side to protect the door!
