1. You have to buy a second crib
2. They can wear the same size diapers… they both wear diapers
3. They both want you to spoon feed them jars of baby food
4. The first one isn’t walking when the second one is born
5. Whenever you’re on the phone with ANYONE and say “guess what?” their response is “You’re pregnant!”
6. When you’re out at the store people say “You must have your hands full”… even on the good days
7. You realize that you were pregnant with your second child (9 months) longer than you were alone with your first (7 months)
8. They both fit in the Bumbo… sort of
9. The bassinet never made it into storage in between babies
10. You own twice as many bibs as you own pairs of shoes
#1 Sign you did not have kids too close together… BEST FRIENDS
He’s funny. He is frustrated with Lyla for grabbing at his book but he knows he shouldn’t push her away and that he needs to be careful with her. So his answer is to recoil away and hope she stops.

my boys are 14 months apart and I love it 🙂 I wouldn't trade it for the world . .. and if some life circumstances hadn't gotten in the way, I would have another as close, if not closer. Sure, it is a little crazy some days but they are best friends already. 🙂 Great post – I could 100% relate!

Awww, love this post! I cried when I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant with my second (although they are almost 2 yrs apart so definitely not what you've gone through), but once he was here I realized it was meant to be so they could best friends, and I wouldn't change it for the World!

Yes to all of these! I got pregnant with my second baby when the first was nine months old. It was crazy for that first month, but I LOVE it! And they are such good buddies!

My 2 are exactly 2 years apart and I wouldn't want them any more apart! I love that they play together so easily and are already becoming best friends.

These are too funny! We only have one toddler, 20 months, so I can't exactly relate, but I can IMAGINE!

Cute post. Your children are adorable. I cannot really relate because I only have one, but as Tina was a baby, it felt like having twins. She was screaming 24 /7 for 11 months. When I see pictures like those of your precious little ones, I would potentially consider having another munchkin. Thank u for sharing

Amen. Mine are 15 months apart, and it is so funny how much they like each other. The baby never got the bumbo because the toddler wounldnt' give it up. If she saw you heading for it with the baby she would get there quicker and plop down into it, LOL!
